Frequently Asked Questions

Why was Industrial Muscle Therapy, LLC created?

Based out of Lexington, Kentucky, Justin Heagarty, LMT, founded Industrial Muscle Therapy, LLC in 2022 to spread awareness of the potential benefits massage has to offer in relieving chronic pain symptoms in those who suffer from past injuries or just work-related stress. Having lived with debilitating chronic pain for over a decade, he now understands the importance of regular body maintenance, and massage has been proven to be a successful, natural method of relieving pain.

Who are your primary clients?

We offer services for people from all walks of life, from fast-food workers to farmers, mechanics, fabricators, nurses and teachers. Chronic pain affects nearly everyone at some point in time in our lives, but it doesn't have to control your life.

Do you have a brick and mortar location?

We hope to have a physical location early 2025!

Currently, We are mobile and come to your home, office, or other location to provide massage services.

Mobile massage therapy can be convenient for people who have mobility issues, limited time, or who prefer the privacy and comfort of their own home. It can also be a good option for businesses that want to offer employees the convenience of on-site massage therapy services.

How far do you travel?

We are willing to travel roughly 30 minutes in any direction from 40503 Lexington, KY. For an additional milage fee, we will travel anywhere in Kentucky.

Do you offer cupping?

Yes we do!

Cupping therapy is a type of alternative therapy that involves the use of suction cups on the skin to create a vacuum effect. The suction cups are placed on the skin, and the therapist will use a hand pump to create a vacuum inside the cup. The suction created by the cup helps to lift and separate the skin and muscle tissue, increasing blood flow and promoting healing.

Cupping therapy is believed to have a number of potential health benefits, including reducing muscle pain and tension, improving circulation, and helping to reduce inflammation. It may be used to treat a variety of conditions, including back pain, headaches, and muscle soreness.

Cupping therapy is generally considered to be safe when performed by a trained and qualified therapist. However, it is important to note that cupping therapy may cause temporary redness, markings or discomfort on the skin, and it may not be suitable for everyone. It is always a good idea to discuss any concerns you may have with a healthcare professional before starting any new treatment.

Will you setup a chair at my place of business?

Absolutely!

Chair massage can be a great way for businesses to offer a wellness benefit to their employees or customers. It can help to reduce stress, improve circulation, and promote overall health and well-being.

If you are interested in offering chair massage at your business, it is important to hire a trained and qualified massage therapist to ensure that the sessions are performed safely and effectively.
